Friends - You know I love biking and what bikes can mean for the people who ride them. I joined the Community Cycling Center board because I LOVE how the group successfully uses the bike as a tool for social equity. How you ask? By giving away more than 420 bikes at the Holiday bike drive, through programs like our STEM education work in alternative schools to help students become bike mechanics, and through scholarships to our awesome summer bike camp for kids that help build a community of safe bikers on our streets.
This is a great time to become a monthly donor - as this helps the Center budget and build programs for the future. We also have a generous matching grant from LAM Engineering, so your monthly contribution dollars will be matched up to our first $25K. If a monthly gift isn't in the cards right now, of course we'd love a one time contribution. You'll see here on my page I'm trying to raise $10K during our winter campaign.
